„PÁR (pair, couple, match or few in Czech) balances between city and nature, technology and tradition. It connects everything what we like and what we are surrounded by, from music and art, through design, architecture, to our traveling experiences. PÁR is a responsible local brand from Prague that we ourselves would love to discover and follow, because one never knows what will come next.“
PÁR sneakers have been designed to be as comfortable as possible and at the same time to have a certain face. The soft and pliable upper together with the extra light and stable outsole ensure natural ergonomic comfort and contribute to a healthy treading. The sneakers don't need any additional padding or stiffening, there is nothing unnecessary on them. All structural elements are intentionally revealed and each of them helps to shape the timeless functional aesthetics. This minimalism, which is not just a matter of style, but of the whole concept and approach to production and consumption, resonates with the entire PÁR label. All materials and components come exclusively from the EU.
Respected Czech designer Eliška Horčíková (Cutulum, Camper) took part in the development of PÁR sneakers. In addition to footwear, the brand offers also other, often unexpected products, on which it cooperates with various Czech authors. Currently, these are, for example, glasses by designer Jakub Pollág or own perfume edition of Eau de PÁR created together with Scent Roche.
PÁR is created by Jan Kloss and Darina Zavadilová, who have been active in the field of design and fashion through a number of activities, such as the creative group OKOLO, the streetwear brand Rap or the designSUPERMARKET festival. In addition, they have more than a decade of experience with the BOTAS 66 project. As students back in the days (designer Jan Kloss together with Jakub Korouš), they created the lifestyle label based on the history of the traditional Czech footwear brand Botas and later distributed it all over the world through own stores in the Prague city centre.
